Meet the Carrot Hunter — A One-of-a-Kind Wool Sculpture

Dressed for the hunt and ready for adventure, the Carrot Hunter is a fully hand-sculpted needle felted rabbit standing 11 inches tall. He strides forward with purpose — Green flat cap tilted just so, double-breasted vest buttoned up, a bundle of freshly felted carrots slung over his shoulder, and a natural wood walking stick in hand.

He's had a good day Hunting! 

Every detail was built by hand, fiber by fiber — from the expressive glass eyes and textured face to the individually sculpted carrot tops and the tiny buttons on his coat. He is a completely original character built out of my memory of childhood folktales and love for this adorable wild and domestic creature. And the best part is there is only one of him in the world.
