This hand-tooled leather medallion features an original Maine black bear design, carved and dyed by my hand into vegetable-tanned leather. Rich amber and rust tones fill the bear's portrait against a deep brown border, with green foliage accents and a flat leather hanging strap. Every detail — from the relief carving to the hand stitching — is done by the artist's own hands.

This is not a mass-produced decoration. It is a one-of-a-kind heirloom object made to be passed down.
